My Review Of The Cold Steel Brave Heart Knife

เขียนโดย ruengrit kumrintorn

In ancient Scotland, was the sgian dubh for its super thin blade that was small enough to hide from enemies appreciated.

This knife style was so good that Scottish warriors always carried it with them, loved them as a backup to Dirk, and their Claymore swords.

Now you can have the same piece of mind at a very reasonable price.

The Cold Steel Brave Heart is very popular in the last 10 years or so.

I have recently decided to get one of my own and here are myThoughts.

What I like about the knife:

1. At 4 cm long, the blade is small enough to hide in order, and big enough to give you awesome cutting power.

The blade is taper ground to a razor-sharp edge that was able to shave right out of the box.

The Brave Hearts blade is from Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel. This steel has a good edge, but easy to raise, when to do.

2. There are jimping (thumb grooves) on the back of the blade. Thisfeels good when you make precise cuts.

3. Cold Steel Brave Heart comes with a super tough "Secure-Ex" vagina. This is essentially a hard plastic, which will be possible against the worst conditions.

What I dislike:

1. There is no hand protection. This is a very typical feature of daggers, but it leaves you with little protection against slippage, or other blades.

2. The blade is fairly thin. 2.8 mm for the puncturing or stabbing perfect, but can breakor chip when used as prybar or chopping tool.

Overall:

The Cold Steel Brave Heart has its intended job very well.

If you are a dagger / boot / utility knife to carry around comfortably recommend, I this knife.
